You will receive a notification if a brand does choose to hire you and fund the assignment.

If you do start working on an assignment before it’s funded then we can not guarantee you will be paid for that work as we will not be holding the fee for you.

]]> When you are hired by a brand and accept the assignment the platform will set you a deadline based on the brand’s requirements. This is usually 4-5 days. This deadline will count down and will eventually show as being overdue.

Running late to deliver work for an assignment doesn’t necessarily mean you will have a ‘black mark’ against you. We understand that sometimes, especially when products are involved, an assignment may run a little late. As long as the brand is happy with when the work is to be delivered you will not receive a negative review.

If you are running late delivering work for an assignment it’s best to message the brand to let them know.

If you don’t hear back from a brand about an assignment then it is likely that they have chosen to work with someone else. But don’t worry, there are always lots of jobs to apply for in the Marketplace.

Take a look at our pitching masterclass on the blog for some tips on making the perfect proposal. When you write your pitch be sure to mention the stats of your site and socials, include some examples of previous brand collaborations and be sure to explain exactly why you would be perfect for the assignment. The more information you include, the more likely a brand is to find your proposal attractive
